We caught up with Filippo Fort, a professional athlete with roots in Italy and a journey that’s taken him across continents, from Division 1 college football in the U.S. to professional leagues in Europe.
Filippo embodies the relentless pursuit of performance, health, and ancestral wisdom, all while staying true to his values. Here’s how he’s rewriting the playbook on athletic nutrition and recovery with Organised.

TELL US A BIT ABOUT YOUR JOURNEY. HOW DID YOU GO FROM ITALY TO PLAYING DIVISION 1 FOOTBALL IN THE U.S?
I was born and raised in Italy and after falling in love with the game of American Football, I started dreaming about playing Division 1 college football in the U.S.
After a few years of playing in Italy, I earned a scholarship that allowed me fly to Florida and pursue my dream. After playing D1 football and graduating college with a degree in Sports and Exercise science, I began playing football professionally around Europe.
Eventually, I was invited to play for the Canadian Football League but I couldn’t go because I wasn’t vaccinated. It was a very tough choice as the CFL is biggest league of football right after the NFL but I am happy that I stood for what I believed was ethically correct.
WHAT INSPIRED YOUR STUDIOUS FOCUS ON HEALTH AND NUTRITION?
As a professional athlete, I was always looking to improve my recovery and performance in every way possible. I began studying nutrition independently and experimenting with my training regiment. I am very passionate about the health and performance aspects of the human body, which drives me to study this topic deeply and constantly improve my lifestyle and diet.

SO, WHAT'S ORGANISED FUELLING NEXT?
As of today, I am still training very hard aiming at competing professionally in either football or bobsleigh for a few more years. My independent study of nutrition let me to meet and work with one of the leaders in the health space to educate and help people make better choices for their health.
